Hello everyone, it's James Beck with another update! As for broad stuff, a lot of us have been doing a bunch of irl stuff like irl jobs (booo) which has slowed down the project. For example, I had to write on Absolom Station: Center of the Galaxy coming to a Starfinder 2e near you!
Layout
We're still working on layout! We're trying a new technique to make the art pop even more on page! While working on the foundry porting, we found lots of errors that we missed while in the editing phase so we're updating the layout to the changes we made in the foundry.
Because the Trump administration's tarrifs, DriveThruRPG has raised their prices for printing twice. This has forced us to make certain decisions with the layout like having to cut pages that we didn't want to (like the deity section and troops) but we're packaging those into "Mechfinder: The Lost Files" bonus PDF that everyone will get as part of getting the PDF. As of this moment, I do not know when we're going to the printers with Mechfinder because the Trump administration has made it difficult to guess price inceases, tarrifs, etc. I hope soon but I do not want to lie and say tomorrow.
Foundry VTT
We're actually almost entirely done with the foundry module. We're having to update some things due to the remaster (Mecha-Lich and Way of the Healing Gun are the big two) since we found errors and Healing Gun needing to be updated with better language. We were going to initially hold off on releasing the foundry module until the layout is done but we deiced that it was better to release things as soon as we felt it was ready.
Starfinder 2e?
With the release of Starfinder Second Edition incoporating a lot of things that I (James) wanted to do with Mechfinder, we're looking at creating a bonus PDF for free that talks about porting your Starfinder characters into Mechfinder. The idea right now is naming it "Mechfinder: Universe of Mech and Magic (Cyberplane Invasion)". The cyberplane connects to all known universes and that does include mirror universes. In this mirror universe, the mech companies built the Starfinder 2e classes. I want this to be more than just "Here's some class descriptions in a 10 paged document" so I want to explore a bit of how hacking has changed between universes, how to merge the two, and give a big in universe event to make everything seem natureal. We haven't started writing it yet but just something we're floating around while other parts of the project are being worked on. If this is something you'd be interested in, please let us know!
Mechfinder Update!

Hello everyone! It's James Beck with another update! Sorry I've been so MIA for the last 2 months, I had to graduate college and then had to do some personal stuff but the good news is that I've been working on wrapping up Mechfinder the whole time!
Wrapping Up Layout!
We're wrapping up the layout entirely! I'm doing our last passes on it and even added a subclass back into Mechfinder that we originally promised (before we learned about more of the remaster)! The Way of the Healing Gun is back in Mechfinder as well as expanding upon some of the existing subclasses! Planets were wrapped up in the editing room and are already through layout!
We have gotten a LOT done since I graduated and could take on more responsibilities! My projection is the PDF for Pathfinder Second Edition will be out by September or October the latest depending on how some in person things go.
What's Next?
The next steps are pretty fun and mostly out of my (James) hands. The next step is EOG's layout artist will take the affinity file, redo layouts where it's appropriate to make the book EVEN BETTER! I've seen some previews and it looks great! After that, it's one or two more passes from me to sign off on the project. We have 2 art pieces we ordered to help spice up the creature section which I'll share once I get them in!

Hello everyone! It's James Beck once again with an update. This update is going to be relatively short since nothing major has been developed since the last update but I'll share progress to keep things as open and honest with y'all!
College got really busy for me personally. This is my senior year of college and thus my homework is a nightmare at times ontop of keeping up with personal stuff like sleep, food, etc.
We do have another editor hopping onto the project to help edit flavor text as our other editors are busy with either irl stuff or are working on other projects. Since Mechfinder isn't our main jobs, we try to work on it as much as possible when we can. The project is being worked on so thank you everyone for your patience with everything!

Hello everyone! It's James Beck with another update! This update is pretty short as we've been in the editing zone! Let us just dive right in!
Edits!
Our editor, Victoria Sullivan (amazing person btw) has been in the trenches when it comes to editing. Currently, they are working on the factions of the universe which our lead PJ Megaw wrote a lot to populate the universe with different factions you can join. We brought on another editor to help Vic out in getting through the work, focusing more on the mechanical side of the game. A lot of the project right now is in the editing room, hence new playtests recently as the mechanics are done, we just want to make sure you can get the best product possible! We are still coordinating with our foundry freelancer to make sure we get the VTT module as fast as we can. The good news is, the first half of the module is ready to go! To be as transparent as we
New Writings!
We decided to do 2 fundamental changes to some of the early text. We are rewriting chapter 1 to introduce you to the galaxy of Arvaxim and to really hook you into the book. We are also rewriting chapter 3 to try a new attempt to introduce you to the mech classes. Because each class is an already existing class in both Pathfinder/ToV, we decided to change the format to be more asking you questions about your mech and how it interacts with the galaxy! When we get closer to the end and looking at our budget, we might add kineticist, animist, and exemplar into the book as last minute additions. We are also in talks about publishing a short mythic document to talk about how to use mythic Pathfinder 2e rules in Mechfinder and what it could mean in the context of the hack.

Last thing I wanted to update y'all with is new art sketches are in and the inventor mech art!
